We hope everyone has a safe and memorable Fourth of July surrounded by family, friends, and those who matter most. Thank you to our incredible community for your continued support of the Roxboro Person County Rescue Squad.

Today, we’re proud to introduce the newest addition to our fleet—our Incident Support Truck!

This unit plays a vital role in supporting emergency operations by responding to all structure fires, where it provides firefighters with safe, breathable air to keep them operating on the fireground. It also serves as our rehabilitation unit, supplying water, sports drinks, snacks, and other essentials—many of which are generously donated by local businesses, organizations, and community members.

Our Incident Support Truck is also deployed to extended emergencies and mutual aid incidents outside our county when needed. Just this past week, it was requested to assist with a rescue operation on the Dan River, where our crews responded with boats and rehabilitation support for stranded rafters.

We’re honored to serve our community and proud to stand ready whenever and wherever we’re needed.

Last night, Rescue was dispatched to Semora Fire Depts primary district for a structure fire. Crews arrived and advised the home was fully involved, arriving engine and crew began interior attack and quickly got the fire under control. Hats off to Semora, Roxboro,Ceffo, Milton, Hurdle Mills, Rescue, and Ems for a job well done. No injuries reported.
