At the May 18, 2026, Board of Commissioners meeting, Person County DSS Director Adonica C. Hampton read the Income Maintenance Worker Appreciation Proclamation. This meeting was also attended by the DSS Deputy Director, Income Maintenance Administrator, and Income Maintenance Supervisors. The Board of Commissions adopted the month of May as Income Maintenance Worker Appreciation month, and the Board of Commissioners thanked the Income Maintenance caseworkers of Person County DSS for their hard work and dedication.
