We interrupted our regular programming last week to have a social at "Pickin and Grinnin" at the Schley Grange.
The highlight of my night was stealing Tommy's wife Esther for a dance. Bayard got in some dancing too.

Our speaker today was Dr. Rodney Peterson Superintendent of Person County Schools.
He filled us in on the PCS construction and school bond etc.
Wifi wasn't working very well so I recorded his talk and will post it tomorrow....

Honor to be inducted as Rotary Club of Roxboro President for 2026-2027 at the District 7710 Installation Banquet tonight.
Looking forward to our club serving the Roxboro area this year and working with District Governor Patrick Gallagher and all of the other clubs in the district to "Roll up our sleeves" to "Create Lasting Impact".

Roxboro Rotarians had a great time at the lake home of Robby Jones and Kasey. Delicious BBQ and BBQ chicken and fixins as well as some sinful chocolate thing for dessert.
