Busy Fridays! Group exercise classes and the gym are already popping and bingo is getting ready to start soon! The kitchen is ready for meals on wheels and on-site lunch! Fridays!! SHIIP appointments are happening and the pool players will be starting very soon as well! Fridays!

We are feeling so grateful for the support we receive from within our community. This week Maynell was invited to attend a meeting with the Women of our local Moose Lodge. As part of their on-going mission to serve older adults and children and to honor and thank others who join them in that mission, they presented us with gift cards for our meals on wheels volunteer drivers! We will start giving them out next week. Person County is not perfect, but the amount of caring people who try ( and succeed) to make our community better and stronger is incredible.

It was Meet Up for lunch at a local restaurant day! Today they met up at Brookland Eats and we heard lots of great compliments on the food and service! Afterwards - apparently - they burned calories at a playground! Never too Old to Play is our motto!
