🚌☀️ SCHOOL BUS SAFETY — SLOW DOWN & STAY ALERT!

Bright and early Monday morning, our big yellow buses will be rolling as we kick off the 2026-27 school year! That means more buses, bus stops, and students on our roads. School bus safety is everyone’s responsibility. 👧👦📚

As you head out Monday morning and throughout the school year:

🛑 STOP when a school bus is stopped with flashing red lights. Never pass a stopped school bus.
👀 WATCH carefully for children getting on or off the bus.
🐢 SLOW DOWN and be prepared to stop in school zones and neighborhoods.
📵 PUT THE PHONE DOWN and keep your attention on the road.
⏰ GIVE YOURSELF EXTRA TIME. Getting there safely is more important than getting there quickly.

🚨 Passing a stopped school bus can result in a $500 fine and five points on your driver’s license. If a driver strikes a child, the offense becomes a felony.

A child’s life can change in a split second. Stop for the bus. Protect our kids. ❤️

Your child's teacher will be contacting you SOON to discuss Home Visits, Open House/Orientation, and Staggered Entry. 📚

🏫 Open House/Orientation: Thursday, Aug. 13th
9 a.m. to 12 p.m. or 1:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. (Floating!)

🎒 Staggered Entry: Tuesday, Aug. 18th & Wednesday, Aug. 19th (You should know the exact day after your Home Visit.)

🏥 Medical Info: All students are REQUIRED to have an UPDATED physical with immunizations on file within the first 30 days. Students who have additional medical needs (Asthma, Allergies, Seizures, etc.), require rescue/emergency medications, and/or need mealtime modifications MUST complete additional paperwork & provide meds PRIOR to the start of school. 📢 Important Registration and Start of School Update

Please note that Earl Bradsher Preschool does not participate in online registration. We apologize for any confusion caused by the previous post regarding online registration and transportation requests, which has now been deleted.

Additionally, Earl Bradsher Preschool does not provide transportation services.

We are excited to welcome our students back for the 2026–2027 school year! School will begin on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, with a staggered entry schedule on August 18 and 19. Teachers will contact families in August to let you know your child’s assigned start date.

If you have questions regarding enrollment or the start of school, please contact our office directly. Thank you for your understanding and continued support!
