On June 4, 2026, students from Northern Middle School and Person Early College for Innovation and Leadership participated in a Youth Leadership Training at Four Oaks Middle School in Johnston County, NC.

Hosted by the SAVE Promise Club (Students Against Violence Everywhere), this end-of-year event brought together student leaders to celebrate their impact, strengthen leadership skills, connect with peers, and begin planning for the upcoming school year. SAVE, a Sandy Hook Promise initiative, empowers students to promote belonging and help prevent violence in their schools and communities.

We are proud of our students for representing their schools and continuing to lead with purpose!

Calling all rising 6th - 9th graders in Person County! Get ready for a free, exciting, hands-on summer experience where students explore career pathways, build new skills, and have fun learning!

• June 1 – 4: Rising 6th Graders @ Northern Middle School & Southern Middle School
• June 8 – 11: Rising 7th & 8th Graders @ Southern Middle School
