The City is happy to share that Paige, our very own Public Works Assistant, passed the Department of Health Water Distribution Manager I course. She has accepted the position as Public Works Director and beginning on the 1st of September will take on the role. She is excited to continue the great work Ryan was doing to finalize the water infrastructure and other city improvements.

Public Works is currently working on Well 1 and flushing various hydrants as we prepare to utilize the well. This may effect your home's current water. If you do notice any issues, please run your home water or outside hose for 10 minutes and it should help.
We apologize for any issue this may cause.

The City passed 6 resolutions at last night's Council meeting! Two were given to local awardees for their dedication to the City. Another one was presented to Officer Pearson for his exceptional service and courage during a lawful pursuit on July 17th.

The following three are resolutions pertaining to the City;

1) The approval to move forward with the Crosswalk. The City is happy to share that we have approved a project bid and are excited to have the company begin building a crosswalk for our community shortly.
2) An approved resolution stating that Facebook, although a means to communicate with this great community, is not a legal method of making public record requests.
3) The authorization to sell the Spring Riders. We are happy to share that all four are being sold and the funds will go to future community events.

Next month, the City will present the budget. We look forward to seeing you there!
