Our 8th graders made waves this year by participating in the SPLASH beach sign art contest—a powerful project to raise awareness about pollution's environmental impact and inspire beachgoers to protect our Texas coastline.

Congratulations to Julianna and Harper on creating outstanding signs that earned them a spot in the contest! Their artistic talent, thoughtful research, and hard work truly paid off. This summer, keep an eye out for their beautiful creations displayed along Follet's Island, Galveston Island, and Bolivar Peninsula. These young artists are making a real difference in our community! 🌟

The end of the school year is almost here, which means it’s time to get those library books back to the OBMS Library!

Check your backpacks, under your beds, and around your classrooms to make sure your account is clear before summer break.

🎨 Final Due Date: All books must be returned by Friday, May 22nd (the last day of school).

⚠️ Important Notice Regarding Overdue Materials & Fees:

Missing Items: Any books not received by Friday, May 22nd will automatically be marked as lost.

Replacement Fees: If a book is marked lost, a replacement fee for the full value of the item will be added to the district fine list.

💸 Lost or Damaged Books?
If you already know a book is lost or damaged, please settle the balance as soon as possible:

Pay Online: Submit your payment securely at tinyurl.com/yc2jcchu.

Verify Payment: Email a copy of your receipt or proof of payment directly to [email protected].

If you believe you already turned a book in, or if something is showing up on your account by mistake, don't panic! Just visit the library before Friday to speak with Mrs. Quirl for verification.
