The power is back on!!! We are fully operational!!!

We are aware of the City wide power outage. The estimated time from Georgia Power for restoration is 12:00pm. We are in the office but do not have the ability to take payments or access our computers. If you call the office and cannot get through, try calling 706-567-8002. We will get you updated with information as soon as we know. In the meantime, keep your doors closed to conserve your air and limit opening your refrigerator and freezer to safe your food.

The Royston Housing Authority Main Office will open at 9:00am on Thursday, August 20th, 2026. The phones will be answered like normal, but the office will not be open until 9:00am. Thank you for your understanding.

The City of Royston will be switching out gas meters this week through out the city. This is contracted through a third-party company. We will try to let each neighborhood know when they get to your area, but we may not be able to, depending on if the contractors let the City know. Below is an image of the truck the company will be driving. They will not need to come inside your apartment but you may be without gas for a few minutes. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the main office at 706-245-7277. Thank you!
