It takes a Village and a Town…….thank you to the residents of the village and the town of Rudolph for coming out to plant trees tonight! It was a huge success and all the trees are planted. We’re grateful to Alliant Energy for the grant, Urbans Greenhouse for the assistance with ordering, Roger Hartjes with his machine/auger to drill the holes, Jaco Trucking for the black dirt and our resident Master Gardners, Micky and Lynn, for laying out best locations and instructions. Rich Larsen and Larry Hartjes never cease to amaze me with their coordination! Dairy State Cheese really came through with all the pails for continuous watering. Simon, Nellie, Karen, Erin, Kevin, John, Jackan Family, Leverance family, Dolly, Mickey, Gary, Patti, Lynn, Buzz…..if I ever start a landscaping company you will be at the top of the list to hire! Thank you for the help!

Village Yard Waste dump site:
We received the following update regarding where things are being dumped at the brush site.

“Someone dumped a load of grass clippings in front of the pile of branches

Most of the waste was dumped out in the open rather than close to the pile.

I saw what appeared to be a deer rib cage under one pile of grass and some animal skulls.”

This is not hard!!! Branches to the left, yard waste to the right and ABSOLUTELY NO DEAD ANIMALS!

Please don’t make us lock this yard site up.

Please take your brush to the regular dump/drop off site. It has been back open for awhile (see previous posts) and a few of you keep dropping by the temporary tank site. Do not do that! All brush must go down Ponds Road to the regular drop off pile. Thank you!

Final warning! Residents have 1 week to clean up downed branches and limbs from the April storms. After 1 week the Village will hire a company to clean them up and the property owners will be billed accordingly.
