ATTENDANCE CUP RESULTS: September 😢

Rudyard Area Schools daily attendance 92.2%

Pickford Public Schools daily attendance 92.9%

In honor of our wager, Mr. McKee had the privilege of wearing Mr. Rairigh’s high school football jersey last night while line judging the volleyball game between the two schools. Besides not being able to exhale while wearing the jersey, and that it was purple, the night wasn’t all bad as the Varsity and JV Volleyball teams came home with conference victories!

Consistent attendance at school leads to more positive outcomes for all our communities!

Let get the trophy back! Go Bulldogs!

Today, several of our high school students who are interested in becoming First Responders in the future, had the chance to eat breakfast and have questions answered about being a First Responder. Thank you Chippewa County Youth Outreach, Pure Country for donating the food, and everyone who made this happen!

Fourth grade scientists took their learning outside with a field trip to Tahquamenon Falls. They worked closely with the park's rangers to learn about Michigan's native invertebrates! Students got to flex their observation muscles while observing freshwater mussel shells. After a picnic lunch, the students, teachers, and rangers took off their shoes and went into the Tahquamenon River to look for invertebrates living in the water. They collected organisms and identified what they caught. The students did an awesome job and had a great time!
