Town of Rural Hall

Town of Rural Hall This is the official page for the Town of Rural Hall. Rural Hall represents the best that our country has to offer.

It is a small community nestled in northern Forsyth County that shares in the growth and excitement of North Carolina's Piedmont Triad region. It's our people who make us special, who set us apart from the commonplace. People of different backgrounds and beliefs, different races and routines, have come together in their diversity to create a place that offers a superior quality of life, as well as

a small-town, community atmosphere. Our community is supported by a council/manager form of government that provides a modern municipal infrastructure. Within that system of services, our residents have opportunities for leisure time, shopping, employment, worship and other activities that give Rural Hall a special place in the heart of anyone who comes our way. Throwback Thursday seems like the perfect time to remember the legacy of the Rural Hall Jaycees and look ahead to a new chapter of community leadership in our town!

From service projects and civic involvement to supporting local events like RuralFest, the Jaycees have long represented people willing to step forward and make a difference in Rural Hall. Seeing this historic plaque recognizing past charter members is a reminder that strong communities are built by citizens who choose to get involved.

Now, we have an opportunity to begin building that legacy again.

Join us TONIGHT at 7:00 PM at Rural Hall Town Hall for an organizational meeting to learn more about establishing a new civic club in Rural Hall. Whether you are interested in leadership development, networking, volunteer service, or simply giving back to your community, we invite you to come be part of the conversation!

LAST CALL FOR T-SHIRT ORDER!

We will be putting in an order for RuralFest t-shirts on THURSDAY. If you want to order one, message us with your order!

We have (3) ###L RuralFest t-shirts left. They are $15 each and are available for purchase at Town Hall.

There was a lot of interest in a small re-order of shirts after we ran out of most sizes on Saturday. If you'd like one, please message us with sizes needed and we'll see about getting a small order together.

We also have plenty of Rural Hall hats to cover your dome in the heat we are experiencing. $20 gets your choice of our remaining styles and colors!

**Reminder of Thursday evening's meeting**

We are excited about an upcoming opportunity to strengthen community leadership and civic engagement in Rural Hall!

The North Carolina Jaycees and the NC JCI Senate have already demonstrated their commitment to Rural Hall through their support of the 2026 RuralFest event, where they had interest expressed by several citizens in starting a local chapter. Rural Hall clearly has the capacity and the need for volunteers to step up to serve our community.

If you are between the ages of 18-40 and interested in learning more, join Jaycees representatives next Thursday evening, May 28, 2026 at 7:00 PM at Rural Hall Town Hall to learn more about efforts to establish a local civic club dedicated to developing leaders, building connections, and serving our community. Whether you are an emerging leader, longtime volunteer, or simply someone who wants to make a positive difference, this meeting is for you.

Come learn how you can help shape the future of Rural Hall!

Recently, a group of Rural Hall Elementary 3rd graders stopped by the Rural Hall Fire Station. They were able to tour the station, talk about local government, and learn about tax dollars and how they are spent. We love being able to share with our local students about the Town of Rural Hall!
