Last week, we held our annual Memorial Day Breakfast. It was one of, if not the most successful breakfast we've put on.

We want to thank everyone who supported us with their time and donations, as well as everyone who gave to our boot drive.

And thanks to Mr. Jensen Bush, who provided us with these behind the scenes photos. It's been a very long time since most of us have seen the world from the perspective of a seven year old.

Did you know that flooding is the most common and most expensive natural disaster Kentuckians face? It's important for everyone to be prepared for the next flood, and that goes double for us. Our new rescue boat is one way we are getting ready.

Thanks to the support of our community, the dedication of our members and of our board of directors, and the generosity of George and Edith Sparks of Sparks Funeral Homes, we're a little more equipped to help prevent someone's worst day from becoming their last day.
