Just to let everyone know we will not be opening our orchard again. Angela has been very busy with accounting and I have been very busy with the wood shop and farming. We have truly enjoyed everyone's visits and conversation. I'm sorry for the inconvenience but we just don't make much money in the orchard. You must realize that ever year we prune, load branches, mow, trim, spray, pick off about half of the small apples, pick, wash, sort, bag, and sometimes deliver the fruit. We probably make about a dollar an hour! I need to spend my time in the shop and not in the orchard. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We made new friends and rekindled old friendships. Thanks again!

Rushford Peterson schools will enjoy queen's apples tomorrow provided by Wind Turbine Orchard! This will be served during lunch tomorrow to all students and faculty. Even students that pack a lunch will be offered a queen's apple (apple with caramel and whipped cream).

We have very limited pears left. They are ripe, sweet and juicy. If you want to have some pears, stop by sometime this week. They are going fast, so hopefully you get some before they are gone. I'm guessing they will be gone before the weekend.

We are selling Honey Crisp apples tonight at the farmers market in Rushford. I am cooking up a pot of Macintosh Apple chili for the chili contest tonight. Be sure to vote for your favorite!

We will be selling apples tomorrow at the Rushford Peterson Valley Farmers Market. We have Honey Crisp, Fireside, Sweet 16, Macintosh, Cortland, Wealthy, and Pears at the farm, but am only bringing Honey Crisp to the market tomorrow. Come visit us next to Creekside Park!

We will be selling apples at the Rushford Peterson Valley Farmers Market near Creekside Park/Niggle Field in Rushford tonight. We are there from 4 until we sell out (or 7 pm whichever happens first). Angela may be bringing more apples at 6 pm as word has reached her; they are selling fast!

For opening day, we have had so many friends return to the orchard. It was such an awesome day! A great big thank you to every one that stopped! It is so wonderful to see everyone again, such wonderful people. A new customer stopped by today; we enjoy meeting new people as well. As always, if you aren't happy with the apples we are happy to replace them or your money back.
