What a wonderful offering to our community by wonderful ladies!!!

Local author Ruth Metcalf's book "Forest Faces of Moss Lake" is now available at the Fillmore and Rushford public libraries!! Library Treasurer Marty Sabato and Library Director Becky Cole hailed the generosity of the Ryan Family for making this possible. More in the comments on this literal good news:

Tomorrow all submissions for our time capsule must be at the library before noon when we close. Help us fill our time capsule with wonderful things about Rushford and Rushford people. We are participating with libraries across the Southern Tier Library System in creating a time capsule for Rushford Free Library. This is open to all community members and patrons of all ages in Rushford. You can submit written pieces, drawing/art pieces (no larger then 8x11) and photos. Stop by the library to get the information sheets. We also have drawing and writing prompts for those who want to add something but are unsure of what. Once completed the Rushford Free Library Time capsule will be displayed at our library and will be opened in 50 years in celebration of America's 300th. Help us add some history of Rushford before and during 2026.

We have entered the last few days of submissions for our time capsule. All items must be returned by August 31st. Help us fill our time capsule with wonderful things about Rushford and Rushford people. Don't forget to get your raffle tickets before Labor Day. We have some great prizes again this year. You can get tickets at the library, Barefoot Quilters and from any board member. Drawing with be Tuesday, Sept. 8th.
