Primary Duties:

Valid driver’s license

Must pass background check, drug screen, and physical

SCAM ALERT — Fake “Warrant” Calls Targeting Locals
Several people in our area are receiving calls from people claiming to be local law enforcement and saying there’s a warrant. These callers often try to pressure you to pay over the phone, provide bank/card info, or give personal details.
This is a scam. Local law enforcement will NOT:
• Call and demand payment over the phone.
• Ask you to give bank or credit card numbers to “clear” a warrant.
• Threaten immediate arrest if you don’t pay right away.

If you get one of these calls:
1. Hang up. Do not give any personal or financial information.
2. Do not call back the number they give. Scammers can spoof phone numbers.
3. Verify independently. Look up your local sheriff’s office or police department number from an official website and call that number yourself.
4. If you were pressured to send money or gave account info, contact your bank immediately. Report it. Contact your local law enforcement non-emergency number and file a report.
