Being a great neighbor starts with what we hide behind our privacy fence. It’s our storage area for our unmentionables, mechanicals, trash and junk. Its also the backside for Coco’s B&B. As you know, we have to buy bottled water for a property with an iron water well 😣. The store won’t take them back! So we make pots out of the bottoms for the 100s of items we propagated and divided to rebuild our LL gardens with ferns, hosta, lily of the valley, Egyptian walking onion, chives, Jerusalem artichokes, fireweed, daylilies, stellas, sedums and succulents, daffodils, lovage and a host of other perennial herbs. The bottle tops are great to slide over limbs to airlayer more plants like forsythia, raspberries, native honeysuckle and spiarea. The proble is the bottled blow all around our enclosed storage area. So do the shipping coolers we collect for nonprofits managing cat colonies. They really blow around. So we have a bunch of the collapsible totes. No more blowing around. All neatly stacked upside down under the tarp. So it’s nice to have storage area behind the fence cleaned up again after the last storm. Construction stuff, trash cans and compost bin are all straightened up too.
