We've had a lot of questions about where to park for the Franklin County Watermelon Festival. We will have designated handicap parking areas located behind MS Industries & Bank Independent. Please do not park there unless you have a handicap badge.
There is not a designated parking area or a specific entrance for our festival. Attendees may park along the streets that are parallel and perpendicular to Jackson Avenue.
PLEASE BE MINDFUL OF YOUR PARKING AND DO NOT BLOCK ENTRANCES TO BUSINESSES OR DRIVEWAYS TO PRIVATE RESIDENCES.
❌NO PARKING ZONES❌
DO NOT PARK in the parking lots, loading zones, drive thru, or block any entrances to the following areas:
❌Designated Handicap Parking (unless applicable)
❌Blocking Entrances of Porta Potties
❌Franklin Electric
❌Russellville Post Office
