• B.Y.O.C. (Bring Your Own Crafts) is back but has moved to Mondays.
• T.A.C.O.(Teens All Chillin' Out) Tuesdays will offer teens a chance to chill out together while offering a new low-key activity each week.

• Video Games remains on Thursdays from 4pm until 7pm. This week features Sonic games.
💛Friday is for the whole family as we bring you Hoppers (Disney/Pixar 2026, rated PG) along with free snacks and drinks for Family Movie Time at 4pm.
And finally, we have something for even the itty bittiest citizens of Logan County! 💜Newborns, babies, and their caregivers are invited to join us for Lapsit Storytime with Ms Tabitha on Saturday mornings. A shorter, softer version of Storytime that features infant specific activites and an opportunity to connect with others who are also caring for new babies.

We had so much fun today at the Emancipation Celebration at Hampton Park! Our LCPL crew throughly enjoyed the chance to celebrate with and serve our community at the same time!
We gave out tons of free library goodies including t-shirts, tote bags, lanyards, bracelets, pens, pencils, rulers, key rings, bead necklaces, stickers, & educational activity booklets. We had three sizes of button presses available for folks feeling crafty, and lots of cool magnets and pins were made today!
We helped keep our community cool and comfortable today with sunscreen, mosquito repellent, fans, and big cooler full of cooling towels, cold water, and pre-frozen cold packs. The mister was off to the side for anyone who wanted to cool off with a light cold water mist; it was well-visited.
Thank you so much to the 8th Of August Kentucky event organizers and staff for making this incredible event happen for our community each year! 🖤❤️💚💛

We're taking a break from Teen & Middle Grade programming this week, as we understand most everyone is wrapped up with Back-to-School busyness. Be sure to look for us at your school's Open House events. We'll be there with information and free back-to-school goodies at each LC elementary school event and all of the RISD schools' open houses.
We have our regular programs back for Pre-K children and adults this week, plus a new monthly program beginning August 3rd. Library Makers invites adults to come take a break, make some friends, and learn a new skill! Bring your children, and we'll keep them entertained too.
Miss Tabitha is also introducing a new program this week. Lapsit Storytime welcomes babies and their caregivers to a shorter, softer Storytime experience on Saturday mornings at 9:30AM. (Please note: The library opens at 10AM on Saturday for all other business and use.)
Tech Training is also new in August! Come by each Monday from 9AM - 2PM for help figuring out how to work your laptop, phone, or tablet. First come, First serve.
AND... don't miss our tent this Saturday at the 8th of August Celebration at Hampton Park. We will have a crew on hand to help keep you cool, plus tons of cool LCPL summer swag to share with everyone! Come see us!
