๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธToday at the Russellville Rotary Club, Rotarian Phil Baker had the privilege of welcoming Congressman Brett Guthrie along with Mark Lord for a wonderful meeting centered around service, leadership, and community. ๐Ÿค

Congressman Guthrie shared updates from Washington and spoke about the work being done in Congress to support Kentucky families, strengthen local communities, improve infrastructure, and create opportunities for future generations. It was encouraging to hear about the continued efforts being made to serve the people of our state and advocate for rural communities like ours. ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ’™

Days like today are a reminder of what makes small communities so special โ€” leaders investing in people, businesses supporting education, and organizations like Rotary helping make a difference one student at a time. ๐ŸŒŽ๐Ÿ’™โœจ

Today was one of those Rotary moments that stays with you long after the meeting ends.

Fellow Rotarian Matteo Bertolini traveled all the way from Italy to join our club meeting today. ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น๐Ÿค๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ As we exchanged club flags, it felt like so much more than fabric and symbols being traded โ€” it felt like hearts connecting from across the world.

In a world that can often feel divided, Rotary reminds us that kindness, service, and friendship still speak every language. No matter where we come from, we can sit at the same table, share the same mission, and care about the same people.

Itโ€™s humbling to realize that the same Rotary spirit alive in our small town is also alive in places thousands of miles away. Different countries. Different cultures. But the very same heart for serving others.

Today was a reminder that Rotary doesnโ€™t just exist in our communityโ€ฆ it reaches around the entire world, tying people together in ways words can hardly explain. ๐ŸŒŽ

Today at Rotary, Rotarian Ray Clark hosted Denise McDonald from Logan County Good Samaritan.

Some people serve quietlyโ€ฆ never asking for recognition, never looking for praise โ€” they just show up when others are hurting. Logan County Good Samaritan continues to be a light for so many in our community through compassion, generosity, and a willingness to help others during difficult times.

Itโ€™s easy to forget how many people are carrying burdens we never see. A missed paycheck, an empty cabinet, a family trying to hold it together. But organizations like Good Samaritan remind us that kindness still exists, and that even in difficult times, nobody should feel completely alone.

Thank you, Denise, for the love, compassion, and hope you pour into Logan County every single day. The work you do matters more than words can say. โค๏ธ

Today at Rotary, Rotarian Ken Williams hosted Fort Campbell Garrison Command Sergeant Major Ryan Jeffers ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธโญ๏ธ. We appreciated the opportunity to hear his thoughts on sacrifice, discipline standards, and the importance of community.

One statement that truly stood out was his philosophy: โ€œRemember where you came from and where you started.โ€ ๐Ÿ’ญ๐Ÿ‘ A powerful reminder to stay grounded, work hard, and never forget the people and places that helped shape us.

Thank you, CSM Jeffers, for your leadership, service, and inspiring message. ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿค
