RVCAC Russellville Location would like to honor two amazing interns that we were blessed by this year! Ezra Kinsey, Psychology and Sociology major at Arkansas Tech and Carley Mitchell, Sociology and Criminal Justice major at Arkansas Tech. These two amazing individuals went above and beyond in their internships, assisting our staff, and even client families. The RVCAC team knows there are great things in store for these two and we are so grateful for our time with them!! ๐
โThis internship opportunity has given me a whole new understanding of child advocacy and a greater appreciation for services the RVCAC provides. I am looking forward to learning more about the careers in child advocacy and helping the center serve such an important community. โ - Ezra
"My time at the River Valley Child Advocacy Center has taught me several lessons that I will carry with me throughout my life and career, but one of the most important ones is to just be there for people. Many people, no matter their age, need someone to talk to and for someone to actually listen, respond with empathy, and help them navigate the next steps. I've learned that being that listening ear or stable shoulder for someone to lean on is one of the best services that you can provide to those who are experiencing difficult or traumatic times in their life like those we see at the CAC." - Carley
