🤝 Great things happen when communities work together.

This week, Christie and Megan spent time in Little Rock connecting with leaders from across Arkansas and discussing how collaboration helps communities grow and thrive.

One of the highlights was meeting with Arkansas Hospitality Association CEO Alicia Peyseno to talk about the important role tourism plays in supporting local businesses, attracting visitors, and strengthening communities like Russellville.

These conversations build on work already underway. Earlier this year, they partnered to lead a session at the 2026 Governor's Conference and will continue sharing ideas on tourism, partnerships, and community growth at the 2026 Community Development Institute this fall.

We're proud to be part of a network of leaders across Arkansas who believe strong relationships create stronger communities.

What a great day at the Annual Kids Fishing Derby!

A huge thank you to all the young anglers, parents, volunteers, sponsors, and organizers who came out to make this year's event such a success. Seeing so many kids enjoying the outdoors, learning to fish, and creating memories with family and friends is what it's all about. ❤️

We loved watching the excitement of every catch, the smiles on the kids' faces, and the friendly competition throughout the morning.

Congratulations to all of our participants and winners, and thank you for helping make this a fun-filled day at the lake.

No fishing license? No problem.

Now through midnight Sunday, Arkansas residents and visitors can fish without a fishing license or trout permit, making it the perfect excuse to spend some time outdoors with family and friends.

Russellville is home to one of the state's premier fishing destinations, Lake Dardanelle, where anglers of all skill levels can cast a line and enjoy a day on the water. Whether you're fishing from the bank, a dock, or a boat, this weekend is all about making memories and enjoying the outdoors.

🤹🎪 What if your kid spent a week learning circus tricks instead of staring at a screen? 🎪🤹

This summer, the Piccolo Zoppé Summer Circus Camp is coming to Russellville, giving kids ages 6–18 the chance to learn from professional circus performers from around the world.

Throughout the week, campers will explore:
🎪 Juggling and clowning
✨ Aerial arts
🤸 Tumbling and acrobatics
🐴 Ba****ck riding with the Zoppé horses

But this camp is about more than circus skills. It's about building confidence, making friends, trying something new, and discovering talents they never knew they had.

The week wraps up with a live performance where campers get to show family and friends everything they've learned under the big top. 🎉
