That's what Community Action is all aboutโ€”people bringing their talents together for one purpose: helping people and changing lives. ๐Ÿค

Please help us give our newest team members a big ARVAC welcome! ๐Ÿ‘๐ŸŽ‰ We're excited for what's ahead and glad to have you both as part of the team!

๐Ÿ’™ Celebrating Love, Laughter, and the People Who Make ARVAC Special ๐Ÿ’™

Yesterday, our ARVAC family had the joy of celebrating our incredible Chief Operating Officer, Sarah Lasiter, as she prepares for one of life's most exciting new chapters. From heartfelt gifts and sweet treats to lots of laughter and smiles, it was a wonderful afternoon spent honoring someone who gives so much to our organization and the communities we serve.

At ARVAC, we're more than coworkersโ€”we're a team that celebrates life's milestones together. Whether we're supporting the families in our communities or supporting one another, we believe that strong relationships are at the heart of everything we do.

๐ŸŽโœ๏ธ A New School Year Is Almost Here! ๐Ÿ“š๐Ÿ’™

This weekend marks the final weekend of summer for many students, families, teachers, and school staff across Arkansas. As backpacks are packed, school supplies are gathered, and excitement (and maybe a few butterflies!) begin to set in, we want to wish everyone a wonderful start to the new school year.

At ARVAC, we believe that strong schools help build strong communities. Every student who walks through the school doors, every teacher who inspires a classroom, and every family cheering their child on plays an important role in shaping a brighter future.

๐Ÿ’™ We'd love to hear from you!

๐Ÿ‘‡ Give your school a shout-out in the comments!
Tell us:
๐ŸŽ What school are you representing this year?
๐Ÿ“š Or, if you're a parent, teacher, student, or staff member, what are you most looking forward to this school year?

Let's fill the comments with support and encouragement for the amazing schools and educators serving our communities!

Here's to a safe, successful, and exciting school year for everyone! ๐ŸŽ‰

๐ŸŒŸ What a Great Week at ARVAC! ๐Ÿ’™

As we wrap up another week, we're reflecting on the opportunities we've had to continue growing our team and strengthening our mission.

This week, we welcomed a new team member during New Employee Orientation, where they began learning about the history of Community Action, our mission, and the important work ARVAC does to serve individuals and families throughout the Arkansas River Valley.

Every new employee represents another opportunity to make a difference in someone's life. We are excited to welcome them to the ARVAC Team and look forward to the impact they will have in the communities we serve.

As we head into the weekend, we'd love to hear from you!

๐Ÿ’ฌ What's one positive thing that happened for you this week? Share it with us in the commentsโ€”we'd love to celebrate with you!

๐Ÿ“š Growing Together to Better Serve Our Children ๐ŸŽ

At ARVAC, we believe that investing in our employees is one of the best ways to invest in the children and families we serve.

During our recent Professional Development Day, our Pathways 2 Learning team had the opportunity to learn from Krystal Shipp of Arkansas Tech University. The training focused on strengthening literacy in the classroom and equipping educators with effective strategies for addressing challenging behaviors.

These topics are essential in creating positive, engaging learning environments where every child has the opportunity to grow, learn, and succeed. By continuing to build our knowledge and strengthen our skills, we're better prepared to meet children where they are and help them reach their full potential.

A special thank you to Krystal Shipp for sharing her expertise and inspiring our educators with practical tools they can take back to their classrooms.

๐Ÿ“ธ Take a look at some of the exciting moments from our Professional Development Day below!

Because when we invest in our educators, we invest in the future of our communities. ๐Ÿ’™
