Campbell County entrepreneurs may be eligible for a $5,000 grant to help move their businesses forward.

The Start Small Campbell Grant is open to qualifying businesses that are less than three years old or preparing to open their first Campbell County location. Applicants must complete at least two qualifying workshops, submit the required financial documentation and have their business plan reviewed before applying.

Own commercial property in Campbell County? You may be eligible for a tax program that assists property owners in making impactful improvements to commercial or industrial property.

The program allows qualifying property owners to freeze their property tax assessment for five years after renovation - meaning improvements you make will be held at the current assessed tax rate for the next five years.

Applications must be submitted and approved before a building permit is secured and renovation work begins. For more information or to apply, contact the Campbell County Real Estate Office at (434) 332-9510.
