Spring is in the air—and so is staff appreciation!

We recently celebrated Mental Health Specialists on Ruston's campus with a day of food, fellowship, and FUN! Staff gathered for a wonderful time together—including a volleyball match and DELICIOUS jambalaya plates.

Kate Kerwin (pictured on left) recently stopped by Methodist Children’s Home with a friend to donate skateboards and gear! 🛹 She shared that she often passes by our campus and thought of our kids while cleaning out her things—and we’re so grateful she did.🙌

Because of supporters like Kate, our kids get more opportunities to get outdoors and have fun! Thank you, Kate, for your thoughtfulness!💛

We had a BLAST at the Kappa Delta Shamrock 5K 2026 on Saturday, and Kappa Delta Sorority - Alpha Chi Chapter raised over $70,000! Thank you, KD, for having us and always going above and beyond for Louisiana's kids! 💚

Today, we're giving a special shoutout to Ella Williams, a member of Kappa Delta Sorority - Alpha Chi Chapter.

Ella turned a class assignment at Louisiana Tech University into an opportunity to give back to kids in her community by hosting a campus-wide donation drive for Methodist Children's Home youth. With the help of fellow Tech students, she collected hygiene essentials for our boys and girls!

We're inspired by young leaders like Ella who create opportunities to engage others in helping kids. Thank you, Ella!🩵

Today, we're recognizing Sheri Berger, Pediatric NP and Director of Nursing at Methodist Children's Home of Southeast Louisiana (MCHSELA).
