Dayhab had a great day at the Biedenharn Museum & Gardens! They loved exploring the Coca-Cola Museum, Bible Museum, beautiful gardens, and touring the historic home of Joseph Biedenharn.

The highlight was definitely getting a glass Coke for just a nickel from the old-fashioned machine! They thought that was the coolest! ❤️

Do you have a family member or child with autism who regularly rides in your vehicle?

The Ruston Police Department is now offering Autism Awareness Vehicle Stickers free of charge. These stickers can help first responders quickly recognize that someone in the vehicle may have unique communication or sensory needs during a traffic stop, crash, or other emergency.

Having this sticker displayed can:
• Alert first responders
• Help reduce stress and anxiety during unexpected interactions.
• Encourage communication techniques that are more effective for individuals with autism.
• Improve safety for everyone involved during emergency situations.

If you would like a sticker for your vehicle, stop by the Ruston Police Department during normal business hours to pick one up. We are committed to serving every member of our community with compassion, understanding, and professionalism.
