Methodist Foster Care

10/22/2026

🎃 What an awesome day at the 9th Annual Touch-A-Truck & Trick-or-Treat with Families Helping Families of Northeast Louisiana, Inc.!
Our Methodist Foster Care team was out in full force at the Ike Hamilton Expo Center. Foster Care Recruiter Tia Britton, intern Megan Thoman, and Child Placement Worker Jasmine Nelson worked the MFC information booth, shared about foster care opportunities, and handed out candy to all the little trick-or-treaters who stopped by.
Big trucks, big smiles, and a great chance to connect with families in our community! 🧡

Your love, patience, and dedication make a lasting difference in the lives of so many. We have award recipients for both categories in each of the five regions we serve throughout Louisiana.

From late nights to helping with homework, to providing stability, laughter, and unconditional support, you show us every day what it truly means to be in service of others. Thank you for saying "yes" when it matters most.

To all of our foster caregivers, past, present, and future, you are deeply appreciated. The world is brighter because of your compassion. If you know one of this year's recipients or any of our caregivers, drop a comment below and help us celebrate them!💖

Excited to share this! 💖

We've unveiled the first of six Methodist Foster Care business signs with our new logo and colors at the Shreveport office! The logo centers a family, symbolizing the heart of our mission as a program of Louisiana United Methodist Children and Family Services. Together, we guide children and families home to experience God's love by following the teachings of Christ.

What do you think of our new look? We'd love your support and prayers as we continue this important work in communities across Louisiana!
