It is the most wonderful time of the year as we enter commissioning season. Last week, the Tiger Battalion conducted our first commissioning ceremony for the fall semester on the campus of Grambling State University.

This is a momentous occasion that marks our cadets making the final transition from cadet to officer in front of friends and family. Our cadets also get the opportunity to take their oath in front of the entire graduating class during the university fall commencement ceremony.

Congratulations to 2LT Joshua Elzie, 2LT Ja'Haven Hardy, 2LT Sashnia Murray, and 2LT Papa Nguer.

Update to our previous post: Through an unintentional oversight a few of our cadets names were missing from the previous announcement. We want to make sure all of our cadets get recognized and congratulated for reaching this significant milestone.

Last Wednesday and Thursday night, the Tiger Battalion hosted our annual Branch Night for members of the Class of 2026. This event represents the next big step as these cadets begin their transition to Second Lieutenants.
