55 Kip Center Celebrating over 30 years of service to the area! The Center provided programs, activities, and meals for older adults on Saturdays only.

55 Kip Center has been serving Rutherford, NJ since 1985 at a local parish house in partnership with the Interfaith Council of Rutherford. In April 1995, the Center moved to 55 Kip Avenue and now operates a comprehensive and full time program promoting the physical, emotional, educational, and spiritual well-being of older adults. Today, our professional staff and dedicated volunteers cater to a community of over 700 active members of all ages.

☀️🇺🇸 What a fantastic way to kick off summer funat 55 Kip Center! Our Summer Party this past Saturday was filled with fun, laughter, and plenty of red, white, and blue spirit as members came together to celebrate the start of the season. One of our favorite entertainers, Gene DiNapoli, kept the party going with great music, dancing, and energy that had everyone smiling.
It was a wonderful day of friendship, fun, and community—everything that makes 55 Kip Center so special. As we head into June, we’re looking forward to an exciting summer packed with great programs, special events, and opportunities to stay active, engaged, and connected. Rutherford High School “Senior Citizen’” Prom
More than 60 Kip Center members joined Rutherford High School students for a night filled with laughter, friendship, dancing, and unforgettable memories. Guests enjoyed a delicious catered dinner, danced the evening away to music by DJ Margaret Nastasi, celebrated with fun prizes, and enjoyed an amazing ice cream generously donated by Karen Sasso. 🍦🎶
A heartfelt thank you to the incredible Rutherford High School Interact Club and Glamour Gals, along with RHS Advisors Olivia Griggs, Lisbhet Garcia, Jessica Ferlauto, and Nicole Ealey, for organizing such a meaningful intergenerational event. Your kindness, enthusiasm, and hard work made the night truly special. ❤️
