Rutherfordton Enrichment Council REC - The Hut It is available for use by these groups at little to no charge. It is available to the public to rent for parties, receptions, and events.

The Hut was created to provide a permanent home to youth-oriented groups and programs including Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts, youth sports and Church youth groups. Current rates are $200 for Fri, Sat, Sun and $100 for M-Th. You get The Hut for 24 hours, midnight-midnight. We don't do partial-day rentals. We require a $250 damage deposit that is returned after the event if there is no damage

or cleaning to be done. Inside, there are 12 round 60" tables and 4 - 8' serving tables and 70 chairs. Max Capacity is 70 and if you set up all the tables, it is full with no extra space. Renter will need to provide all serving dishes, plates, etc. Currently, there is no wifi in the building but cell service is good. Call or send a text to the listed number rather than thru Messenger as I don't check FB that often. Thanks, Eric
