👨⚖️JUSTICE & ACCOUNTABILITY🚨
A Rutland man has pleaded guilty in connection with a child sexual assault case investigated by the Rutland City Police Department.
Cases involving the abuse of children are among the most serious and difficult investigations our detectives undertake. They require patience, attention to detail, compassion for victims and families, and a commitment to following the evidence wherever it leads.
This investigation was a collaborative effort involving detectives and evidence technicians from the Rutland City Police Department, the Rutland County State’s Attorney’s Office, the Vermont Attorney General’s Office, Vermont’s Agency of Human Services, the Rutland County Child First Advocacy Center, and special agents from Homeland Security Investigations. The dedication, expertise, and cooperation of everyone involved were instrumental in advancing this case and bringing it to a successful resolution.
We are proud of the work done by our investigators and our partner agencies to ensure that evidence was thoroughly investigated and that this case moved through the criminal justice system.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to this investigation.
