🚨 ACTIVE SHOOTER RESPONSE TRAINING 🚨

Today, CTO McGuinness and Dispatcher Tessier are participating in Active Shooter Response Training alongside the Barre Police Department and our other public safety partners at Quabbin Regional High/Middle School.

Training opportunities like this are incredibly valuable for our Emergency Communications Specialists. Dispatchers are often the first point of contact during a critical incident, and training alongside our field responders provides a better understanding of how these complex incidents unfold, the information responders need, and the importance of clear communication and coordination throughout the response.

We appreciate the Barre Police Department for including our communications personnel in this important training. Opportunities to train together strengthen the relationship between dispatchers and field responders and help ensure we are prepared to work as one team when it matters most.

The Warren Fire Department is proud to announce the swearing in of three recent graduates of the Quaboag Fire Academy. This afternoon they officially joined as recruit members of the Warren Fire Department. Congratulations to Thomas Bellizzi, Riley Corder and Cameron Bennett! They will begin their recruit training this weekend and will eventually attend the Massachusetts Firefighting Academy. We wish them nothing but future success and look forward to having them as part of our team.
