I'm just so thrilled that Mountain Bike (MTB) Atlanta is hosting its second annual Barn Quilt Round Up bicycle event on our Chatt Hills Barn Quilt Trail in Chattahoochee Hills, GA.

I participated last year and it was so much fun to see all the different groups of bicyclists -- some taking their time to view the country scenery and barn quilts; others racing with a quicker pace, determined to find as many of the 48 barn quilts and be declared "Winner."

What else I love is that the registration fee goes to this hardworking organization that has built and maintained many of our trails at Cochran Mill Park (as well as other parks in Georgia.)
Here is the registration link. How about coming out and enjoying the ride -- or if you don't ride, they might need some volunteer help.

About our collection:
The Historic Ramsey House’s permanent collection is home to more than 50 historic quilts and other textiles dating from the early 1800's to the mid 1900's. From the Pickle Dish to the Rose and Bud, these beautiful works of art, help to tell the story of East Tennessee families, from all walks of life, one stitch at a time. Our ongoing effort to protect and store the collection is integral to ensuring its survival for future generations.
