🌉🎓 Crossing the Bridge to Kindergarten! 🎓🌉

At DCIU, we believe every child deserves a strong start and the opportunity to reach their full potential. Our Pre-K Counts students took an exciting step on that journey during the annual Bridge Crossing Ceremony, symbolically crossing from preschool to kindergarten while celebrating a year of growth, discovery, and achievement.

Through high-quality early childhood education, our Pre-K Counts program helps children build the academic, social, and emotional skills that form the foundation for lifelong learning. Kindergarten readiness is about more than preparing for the first day of school, it’s about empowering young learners with the confidence, curiosity, and resilience they need to succeed in school and in life.

We are proud of each student and grateful to the families, educators, and staff who support them every step of the way. Congratulations, graduates! We can't wait to see all the amazing things you'll accomplish as you continue your educational journey. 💙✨

🎉 DCIU was proud to celebrate students from our Forward Bound Program at the Aston Education Center during this year's End-of-Year Awards Ceremony!

Forward Bound supports students as they continue their high school education while building resilience, strengthening well-being, and working toward their future goals. The event recognized students for their hard work, perseverance, growth, and achievements throughout the school year.

There are still a few spots open for this imaginative summer camp for 4th-6th graders! 🚀

DCIU’s Future City Robotics Camp is where imagination meets engineering, and where students don’t just learn about the future… they build it!

Students in grades 4–6 will design and construct their own model city using recyclable materials, then bring it to life with real robots and drones. Throughout the week, they’ll code, problem-solve, and work as a team to tackle real-world challenges, thinking like true engineers every step of the way.

DCTS Summer Camp gives students in grades 6–8 the chance to explore through real, hands-on experiences across multiple career and technical programs. Each day, campers build and create their way through different programs completing projects they can take home. Build it. Cook it. Design it. Try it all!
