Grainger County Chamber of Commerce

Grainger County Chamber of Commerce The Grainger County Chamber of Commerce was founded in 1957 to promote business and industry within the county. The Chamber is governed by a Board of Directors.

Established in 1957, our mission is to lead the growth of a strong business community and sustainable tourism economy—improving quality of life, expanding opportunity, and celebrating the authentic experiences that make Grainger County unique. The Chamber’s growing list of members include a diverse group of businesses, industries, and institutions. In addition, membership includes many individuals

and families. Though small in number, the Chamber has a big heart and ambitious future plans. The Chamber hosts a variety of networking opportunities for members. These include bimonthly industry luncheons and after hours events. The highlight of the Chamber’s social calendar is with the annual Spring banquet. The banquet features a guest speaker- usually a local celebrity - and an awards presentation. Awards include Business of the Year, Industry of the Year, and Teachers of the Year. The board is comprised of members from four areas of the county, as well as several at-large members appointed by the president. The board’s membership reflects the diversity of the county’s business community. Members serve a one-year term. The Board meets monthly. The meetings are open to the public. The Chamber maintains an excellent working relationship with both the Grainger County and state government. Like the Chamber, the county is anxious to assist new business and industry. Parts of Grainger County have been designated an Enterprise Community by the federal government. As such, a variety of grants and low-interest loans are available for businesses that want to expand or relocate to Grainger County. Information on these and other economic opportunities in Grainger County are available at Clinch Powell Enterprise Community and Southern Appalachian Economic Development Partnership. Honor and Remember the reason for holiday!

This Memorial Day, take the scenic route and pause for reflection at Veterans Overlook along Clinch Mountain on the East Tennessee Crossing National Scenic Byway. 🇺🇸

With sweeping mountain views and a quiet place to honor those who served, the overlook offers a meaningful stop along one of Tennessee’s most historic and beautiful driving routes. As you travel the winding roads of the byway this holiday weekend, remember the sacrifices made for the freedoms we enjoy today.
