As the snow continues to fall, please call and check on neighbors and family members. Road conditions are very hazardous, please stay home where it’s warm. We ask for prayers for EMS, Law Enforcement, Fire Depts, Rescue Squads, Highway Depts and Linemen that are having to travel on the hazardous roads today and in coming days.

Please be weather aware today. If you don’t have to be out please stay home in the warm. Our county is blessed with citizens that have always pulled together and in the next few days we will have to do so again. If you are prepared, please check on your neighbors and elderly in case they couldn’t be. Please stay safe!!!

Our heartfelt condolences and prayers are with the crew, their families and their work family during this difficult time.

Vanderbilt University Medical Center is deeply saddened to confirm that a Vanderbilt LifeFlight helicopter was involved in an accident this afternoon in Wilson County, TN. Three crew members were on board. Tragically, one crew member lost their life, and two others are in critical condition and receiving care at Vanderbilt University Hospital. No patient was on board at the time of the incident.

Our hearts and deepest sympathies are with our Vanderbilt LifeFlight colleagues, their families, and loved ones during this difficult time.
