"The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are as bold as a lion." —Proverbs 28:1

National Police Week serves as both a tribute to the fallen heroes who gave everything in the line of duty and a recognition of the dedicated officers who continue to serve their communities with courage, integrity, and selflessness every day.

Behind every badge is a story of sacrifice, service, and family. This week, we pause to remember the officers who paid the ultimate price in the line of duty while protecting the communities they swore to serve. Their courage and dedication will never be forgotten.

We also recognize and honor the officers who continue to answer the call each day, fully aware of the dangers they may face and the possibility that they may not return home to their loved ones. Yet they still put on the badge, stand the line, and serve with unwavering commitment.

To all law enforcement officers and their families — thank you for your sacrifice, your strength, and your service. Your dedication does not go unnoticed, and we stand beside you not only this week, but every day.

🚓🚗 Grainger County Sheriff’s Department Car Show 2026 🚗🚓

We are proud to share the success of our Car Show held at Grainger County High School on May 2, 2026! With 77 incredible vehicles entered, it was a fantastic day filled with community spirit, beautiful rides, and a shared purpose.

Thanks to your support, we were able to raise funds for our Shop with a Cop Program, helping make a difference for children in our community.

We’d like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who made this event possible:
👏 Modern Woodmen for generously matching donations up to $1,000
👏 Grainger Automotive, O’Reilly Auto Parts (Bean Station & Blaine), and NAPA of Morristown for donating door prizes
👏 The talented Grainger County High School students who designed the flyers and built the amazing trophies awarded at the show

Events like this wouldn’t be possible without the continued support of our community. Each year, we’re proud to host events like our car show, bicycle ride, and more to bring people together and give back.

Thank you again to everyone who participated, donated, and came out to support us—we can’t wait to see you next year! ❤️
