2 FIREFIGHTERS KILLED: Heartbreaking loss for Oklahoma — 2 volunteer firefighters with Goldsby Fire Department were killed in a firetruck crash this morning. 62-year-old Firefighter Todd Pendleton (top picture) and 64-year-old Firefighter Bryan Jenkins (bottom picture) were responding to a structure fire when they rolled over.

The town of Goldsby says: “These firefighters have spent their lives in the service of their community. They served along side their family, friends and neighbors. We in the Town of Goldsby mourn their loss and honor their memory.

Both firefighters will be escorted through Goldsby to Purcell along State Highway 74 today after 1pm. We encourage the community to turn out to honor these fallen firefighters.” 💔

Thank you all for the much needed Prayers. we were able to make it home safely as well as not doing much damage to our equipment. We left our station at 2.30am this morning to meet up with claypool, sudgen, and waurika and we traveled approximately 800 miles and spent about 18 to 20 hours in the fire truck other then all of the bathroom breaks we had to take (Not gunna mention any names lol)We traveled in a small group but we manged to put out a lot of fire with great team work and communication. Thank you guys for letting us tag along. Tomorrow i will get some more pictures up of the trip, It’s time to get some much needed rest. Please continue to pray for the firemen and their families that were injured as well as eveyone working to get the fires fully contained.

Please Lord guide our path as we travel up north.

Burn ban is in affect for the next 14 days. Please be cautious and pay attention to your surroundings. If you see something be sure to call it in. With the high winds and dry conditions it don’t take much for a fire to get out of control.

Merry Christmas from the RVFD. Hope everyone has a great and safe Christmas. God Bless you all.

Please be careful next few days.

Please be careful next few days.

HIGH FIRE DANGER!! 🔥🔥🔥 Please refrain from any outdoor burning, welding or anything that creates sparks. Dry conditions and dead vegetation with the wind predicted can quickly become out of control.
