The village would like to give a friendly reminder that this Thursday to Saturday is Rye Ridge Plaza's annual Sidewalk Sale. We were honored today to celebrate American Public Works Association Week with a fun Touch a Trunk event at Childtime Learning Center in Bellefair HOA! This was a fun collaborative effort with the Rye Brook Highway/Parks staff, Rye Brook Police Department, Port Chester Police Department, and Port Chester Rye Rye Brook EMS, and Shawn's Lawn Inc who has paved village roads. We were all happy to show the kids our vehicles and equipment and all the staff were able to talk about what they do. Special thanks to all of the participating agencies and staff along with Childtime Learning Center Bellefair HOA for welcoming us!

We were delighted to celebrate EMS Week in with the Port Chester Rye Rye Brook EMS by serving EMS staff lunch and showing appreciation for their service to our communities. This was a great collaboration between the Rye Brook and the City of Rye, Town of Rye and Village of Port Chester. We especially want to thank our DPW staff for making lunch for them today.

We would like to congratulate all of the fifth grade students from BMP Elementary School who graduated from DARE today! There were over 100 graduates from the program run by Police Officer Michael Caridi and supported by the village. A great collaboration between the Blind Brook School District and the village that dates back more than 30 years.
