The City of Sabetha is continuing discussions regarding the future of dispatch services and exploring a potential regional partnership with Nemaha County Communications. This discussion centers on long-term financial sustainability, improvements to emergency communications, staffing challenges, and reinvesting taxpayer dollars in infrastructure and community needs.

We understand this is an important topic for our residents. The attached FAQ is intended to provide transparent information, answer common questions, and explain why this discussion is taking place. Public safety services, including Police, Fire, and EMS, will remain in Sabetha.

We encourage residents to review the information and stay engaged as discussions continue.
