PUBLIC NOTICE

REFRIGERATORS & FREEZERS SET OUT FOR DISPOSAL

A reminder to residents: If you are placing an old refrigerator, freezer, or similar appliance outside for disposal or pickup, please make sure the doors are removed or that the hinges, latches, or other hardware that could allow someone to become trapped inside have been removed.

Ohio Revised Code § 3767.29 prohibits leaving an abandoned refrigerator or similar airtight or semi-airtight container in an area accessible to children when it could allow a child or other person to become confined inside.

This is an important safety precaution, especially with children who may be playing or walking through the neighborhood.

The easiest and safest option is to remove the doors completely before placing the appliance outside.

Coats for Kindness Starts TODAY!

Our Coats for Kindness coat rack is officially up and ready to go!

You can find the coat rack in the hallway of the Sabina Municipal Building nearest the Police Department.

Now is a great time to clean out those closets! If you have gently used coats, jackets, gloves, scarves, or other cold-weather outerwear that your family no longer needs, we encourage you to bring them in and place them on the rack.

If you or someone in your family needs a coat or other cold-weather item, please feel free to take what you need.

Give what you can. Take what you need. Help us keep our neighbors warm this winter. 🧥🧤🧣

📢 Reminder: Open Council Seat

Just a reminder that anyone interested in being considered for the open Village Council seat must submit a letter of interest by tomorrow, Wednesday, September 2.

Your letter should briefly explain your interest in serving on Village Council and why you would like to be considered for the position.

Letters can be dropped off at the Sabina Municipal Building.

The submitted letters will be reviewed, with the appointment to the vacant seat expected to be considered at the September 10 Council meeting.

If you’ve been thinking about getting more involved in our community and having a voice in its future, this is a great opportunity to step up and serve!

The East Clinton High School Yearbook Club is reaching out to local businesses, organizations, and community supporters who may be interested in purchasing an advertisement in the 2026/2027 yearbook!

Ads are featured in the community section of the yearbook, and this is a great opportunity to support our local students while also showcasing your business or organization.

Ad sizes and pricing:
• 1/8 page – $50
• 1/4 page – $75
• 1/2 page – $125
• Full page – $225

We love seeing our community come together to support our schools and the students who work hard to create something that will hold memories for years to come.
