Honored to be supporting and speaking on behalf of John Cornyn for U.S. Senate.

Senator Cornyn has been a strong supporter of rural Texas communities, law enforcement, border security, infrastructure investment, and public safety initiatives that directly impact towns like ours. From advocating for safer communities and supporting law enforcement officers, to fighting for resources and opportunities for rural Texas, his leadership has made a real difference across this state.

It was an absolute honor to serve as Master of Ceremonies for the Class of 2038 Kindergarten Graduation.

When families of the kindergarten students asked if the City could host this special event and if I would serve as Master of Ceremonies, I was truly humbled and honored. The youth of the community of Sabinal has always been — and will always remain — my number one priority.

Our children are the future of our community and our country. It is incredibly important that we continue investing in them, encouraging them, and creating opportunities for them to succeed. Seeing the excitement, joy, and pride on display tonight was a great reminder of why that investment matters so much.

I also want to sincerely thank the parents of the kindergarten class for honoring me with the invitation and the opportunity to be part of such a special moment in their children’s lives. It truly means a great deal to me.

Congratulations to the Class of 2038 and their families on this special milestone. The future is bright.

What an INCREDIBLE day at the Plaza Planning Event in downtown Sabinal!

The photos truly do not do it justice. The amount of people who attended — and the constant steady flow of community members throughout the event — was absolutely AMAZING. Seeing so many citizens come out to share ideas, opinions, and visions for the future of our downtown was inspiring.

A huge thank you to Matt and Simple City Design for hosting such a fantastic event and helping guide this important planning process. Community input is critical because this plaza project is not just for today — it’s for generations to come. As long as Sabinal is here, this plaza will be part of our community’s story.

Thank you as well to Hon. Cindy Casburn, Merill Family, Rhianna’s Shaved Ice, Mil Veranos Winery, Town Makers Members, and Keep Sabinal Beautiful Members for helping make this important event such a success.

The future of downtown Sabinal is bright, and today showed just how much our community cares about building something special together.

For the last 6 years, I’ve poured my heart into different side hustles — from jewelry, bags & nails to starting my cookie business in 2023. Creating things people love has always been my passion, and opening a coffee & sandwich shop has been something I’ve dreamed about for years.

Now, it’s finally time to take the leap and bring that dream to life with The Hive Coffee & Sandwich Co. My goal is to create a cozy small-town spot where people can gather, grab good coffee, enjoy fresh food, and feel right at home. 🥪✨
