Sac County Iowa Veterans Affairs Commission The County Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the County Commission of Vets Duties include:
1.

Inform members of the armed forces, veterans, and their dependents of all federal, state, and local laws enacted for their benefits.
2. Assist all of the above with any or all compensation, pensions, hospitalization, insurance, education, employment pay, and gratuities, loan guarantees, or any other aid or benefits to which they may be entitled under the law.

Webster County Health Department's I-Smile Silver program will be hosting a Free Dental Day for Iowa veterans on Saturday, October 9th. Qualifying veterans from throughout Iowa will be able to receive cleanings, extractions, fillings, exams, and x-rays. To schedule an appointment, call Amber at WCHD at 515-573-4107.
