Just a reminder! The Sachse Police Department and Sachse Fire - Rescue are hosting a drive-thru candy chute event at the Public Safety Building tonight from 6 PM until 9 PM. Trick-or-treaters can pull into the parking lot in front of the building, exit their car and receive candy from a ‘candy chute’! Unfortunately, for health and safety reasons, there will be no photograph opportunities this year. We ask that after collecting your candy, you exit the parking lot to allow the next trick-or-treater in line to have their turn. See y’all soon!

Today, Ofc. Stephanie Angeli was presented with a Lifesaving Award for her actions on a medical call on September 6, 2020. Ofc. Angeli arrived, she immediately began lifesaving techniques until Sachse Fire-Rescue arrived on scene to provide advanced medical techniques. Great job Ofc. Angeli!

We appreciate Flat Sparky and Sachse Fire - Rescue coming out to the shelter today to check all of the smoke detectors! Our pups and kitties appreciate it!

Hi there! Flat Sparky here!
We just stopped by the Sachse Animal Shelter to check that their smoke detectors are in working condition. Remember to check your smoke detectors once a month, so that our furry friends are safe while we are away.
Check back tomorrow for my next adventure!

Hello, can you please speak with your officers ONCE AGAIN... Pleasant Valley Rd is a RESIDENTIAL street. PLEASEEEE stop speeding down our street. It’s happened 5 mins ago and also over the weekend. #loveourpolice
Any word on the 4 gunshots off of Blackburn last night in two separate parts of the neighborhood @ around 9:30?
I find it interesting that the City of Sachse Texas Sachse, Texas won’t take responsibility or hold Dallas reasonable for the condition of Pleasant Valley Rd. BUT weekly Sachse police and fire speed down our RESIDENTIAL road at excessive speeds. SMH
Any word on the two missing girls on scooters? I haven’t stopping worrying since the police and fire were patrolling looking for them.
The Census Bureau's ongoing surveys assist in measuring the economic impact of pandemics and other emergencies, creating plans for the country's eventual recovery. #NationalEMSWeek recognizes the work that EMS workers provide to communities and without Census data, EMS workers would not have the information needed to respond to emergencies quickly and effectively. Respond today at 2020Census.gov to make sure your community is prepared for any emergency. #3174Counts
Happy #InternationalDayofFamilies! The Census understands households can be complex. When you respond to the #2020Census, remember to count any children living in your home, any other close or extended family members, and also partners, siblings, grandparents, and cousins. Respond today at 2020census.gov to be counted once, only once, and in the right place. #AmericaCounts #3174Counts https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oXZAe8XYeNQ
Woodbridge Montessori Academy would like to thank you for being a part of our parade. Our children that are sheltering in place with parents at home drove by to see friends and the teachers they miss. Our students always love seeing the community heroes and appreciate you.
I just wanted to thank Officer Carrington, Officer Jones, and the dispatcher for helping our family last night during our crisis. Our beloved 15 year old dachshund fell into the pool and was alive but unresponsive. Not knowing what to do, we called 911 to see if they had instructions on how to help her. I would have never asked for them to send first responders out, especially during this virus, but they did and I cannot thank them enough. The officers were able to revive her and helped us locate the closest emergency animal hospital that was still open to the public. They were sympathetic and helped our family in the worst of times. In the end, she was not able to recover from her injuries but we did get to say goodbye to her and get her to a hospital so she didn’t suffer. We are so grateful to the Sachse Police Department and all of our first responders. Thank you!
Question was asked on Sachse Open Group: Are the construction workers on houses considered "Essential", or must those be shut down like the rest of the city?
Just wanted yall to know we appreciate Sachse PD!! Sure hope yall enjoyed those ribs! From the Browders!
This man was just on my porch at 7:59 pm. He was snooping around with a flashlight. He never rang the bell or knocked. Looks like he is looking for packages to me. I live on 7th Street.
