It's the first weekend of summer, and it's going to be a busy one in Sackets Harbor! Here's a quick rundown of our events:

• Friday, from 3 to 7 pm, Tour the Tisdale House at 105 West Washington St to see the extensive renovation work that's being done on this historic home

• Saturday, from 9 am to 3 pm, pick up fresh fruit and vegetables and more at the Community Farmstand across the street from Good Fellos

• Saturday, from 3 to 7 pm, enjoy some live, outdoor music at the annual Live at the Bandstand event on West Main St, featuring Rae the Band and McKinley James

• Saturday and Sunday, at multiple times, take a run (or two) during the 18.12 Challenge that begins at the Sackets Harbor Battlefield

• Sunday, from 3 to 5 pm, join the Sackets Harbor Historical Society for their opening Concert on the Waterfront, featuring The Sacci Band, at the Battlefield

The work is complete on phase 1 of our Visitor Center porch restoration! New skirting’s been installed around the porch deck, new columns to support the porch roof, new flashing by the tops of the columns to keep the weather and critters out, and more.
