NCC CEO Tracy Hernandez and Investor Relations Director Ryan Ole Hass were in San Francisco last week for an engaging conversation hosted by Garry Tan featuring Governor Gavin Newsom.

The discussion focused on California's future, from artificial intelligence and entrepreneurship to innovation and economic competitiveness. These conversations matter because California's success depends on bringing together leaders from business, government, and the innovation economy to solve our state's biggest challenges.

Thank you to for convening the discussion and to Governor Newsom for sharing his perspective on California's future.

🗳️Today’s election day🗳️. If you haven’t voted already, be sure to weigh in, but as this Los Angeles Times notes, instant gratification is not on the menu.

Experts, including NCC’s CEO Tracy Hernandez, cautioned California’s voters to be patient as today’s voting results are tallied. She told the Los Angeles Times, voters should “Expect not to know” immediately.

Experts are urging patience as primary tallies begin to roll in Tuesday evening. It's a very real possibility that close races, such as a gubernatorial and L.A. mayoral contests, won't be called until Wednesday or Thursday.

California’s future doesn’t get shaped in silos. It gets shaped in rooms like this.
At NCC’s Spring Investor Convening in Newport Beach, investors, partners, and leaders came together for two days of meaningful dialogue around the issues shaping California’s future.

With gubernatorial candidates Representative Eric Swalwell, Sheriff Chad Bianco, and Mayor Matt Mahan, and conversations centered on housing, homelessness, middle-income jobs, water, and energy, the message was clear: California needs practical, solutions-oriented leadership.

NCC isn’t sitting on the sidelines. We’re helping shape the conversation and to build the path forward.
