We are coming to you, our extended Fire Family, with another request to help someone in need. Jack Wehry has begun what will be a long road to recovery following a head-on collision. His family provided the following:
“Jack Wehry is a Junior at Tri-Valley High School. He enjoys sports, lifting weights, spending time with his girlfriend and friends, fishing, working with his partner at their grass mowing and landscaping business, and working on the family farm. Jack plans to be a third generation farmer on his family farm in the future. He was in a head on collision on May 5, 2026 coming home from baseball practice. Jack was airlifted to Penn State Milton S Hershey Medical Center and was in the PICU. Jack had two successful surgeries on his small intestines and colon. Just yesterday, Jack was downgraded to a regularly observed pediatric room. Most importantly, we thank the community for their prayers and support. You guys are great!”
We ask that you all join us in providing support, both financial and emotional, for Jack and his family. For those who are new to this, a Helping Hands works like a 50-50. We will list an unlimited number of chances on the SCFC Online Fundraising page. Each chance costs $5.00. On Wednesday, May 27, during our Live Raffle Drawings, we will pick a winner, who will receive 50% of what was raised. The other 50% goes to Jack. The Fire Company does not benefit. We ask for your continued generosity. Please share this opportunity with everyone. 👇🏻
