Many families new to California don't know where to start when it comes to enjoying our beautiful rivers and waterways safely—and that's exactly why we were at the North Fork of the American River last Saturday. 🌊 We joined a water safety day in Auburn where a state park ranger taught us how to recreate confidently in California's outdoor spaces, something that can feel unfamiliar or even intimidating for newcomers.

Learning together as a community means no one has to figure it out alone. ✨ Whether it's understanding life jacket rules, knowing where it's safe to swim, or just feeling welcome at a state park, these are the kinds of experiences that help families feel truly at home here.
