On June 19 we observe the end of slavery in the United States and celebrate freedom. It is a day for rejoicing but also an opportunity for reflection, assessment, and self-improvement. At BCSH we are proud of our role to safeguard civil rights, protect consumers, and advance equity but know there’s still work to be done as we build stronger and more inclusive communities. Juneteenth reminds us that progress is made when people come together, uplift one another, and work toward a future where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
