California Senior Legislature

California Senior Legislature The California Senior Legislature (CSL) is comprised of dedicated community volunteers representing all 58 counties in the state.

For over 30 years, the California Senior Legislature has been working side-by-side with California's State Assemblymembers and Senators to craft and implement laws that improve the lives of older Californians and their families. Our primary mission is to gather ideas for model legislation for consideration at the State and Federal levels. CSL members craft these ideas into formal proposals, prioritize and present them to the Legislature or Congress, and advocate for laws that improve the quality of life for older Californians.
